Do Never Buy CD's From Amazon.Com

I don't know if anyone else has ever had this problem, but two of the four CD's that I purchased with a miniscule fraction of my casino winnings (story coming soon) were defective. I'm listening to the fourth right now and hopefully it won't be defective as well. Luckily for me, Amazon has a pretty robust return policy. Still, I have NEVER purchased a CD and discovered it to be defective after purchase until now. I guess that explains why their prices are so much lower than the CD's you buy in the music store.

I will not only never buy CDs from Amazon, I will never buy from Amazon.

I guess I'm the only one to ever have a problem with them, but I really do think they're a bunch of cheats who pulled a bait and switch on me and cost me $50.

But, that's just me. Like I said, everyone else has uber-positive experiences with them, so *shrugs*

PS: Fraction of your earnings? How the (expletive) much did you win, anyhow?

Hrm. I've purchased tons of music from Amazon.com, and I've never had a problem. Indeed, I'm uncertain how the problem could be Amazon; if the CDs were in their original casing, it can hardly be the case that Amazon tampered with or somehow damaged them.

Indeed, I almost always buy new CDs from Amazon.com, because you get access to digital feeds of the music before the CD comes out. I've been listening to the latest Neko Case and Drive By Truckers CDs for the past couple of weeks expressly because I ordered them from Amazon. So, I must say "Feh" to you, sir.
